		<description>We used to go up to Pike&#039;s Peak when my family lived in Colorado Springs.  My Dad liked to drive as close as he could to the edge of those &quot;guardrail-less&quot; roads and then tell us kids to look out the window.  He would get close enough we couldn&#039;t see the road out the window facing that side. My mom would be smacking him telling him to cut it out, but he would keep on driving and laugh.....i&#039;m still traumatized by it, and would probably have a hard time driving up Pike&#039;s Peak now as an adult :)</description>

		<description>I recall that particular trek as a wee lad of 12 in 1968. My family and I visited Pikes Peak on the 161st anniversary. I remember that is was snowing quite heavily at the peak and I felt quite dizzy - nothing that a little hot chocolate at the lodge couldn&#039;t cure. Good luck on your continued adventure.
